The Friends of the Goodhue County Fair is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and improving the Goodhue County Fair and it’s associated programs and work. Note, the Friends of the Fair is a separate organization from the Goodhue County Fair and its Board. While the two groups are separate and support the fair in different ways, both groups have similar missions and are dedicated to working together to plan and implement projects that improve the Fair.
Our current efforts are focused on improving the animal housing and exhibition areas on the Fairgrounds. The buildings are aging, need significant repairs and are not big enough to support current participation levels. New buildings will provide better viewing areas for visitors, improved safety for both animals, exhibitors and those viewing shows, and will support growth of existing programs.
